The Pains of Independent Urban Living...What if?

This makes me juggle around with thoughts of moving out the suburban haven, find a reasonably priced apartment, and gucci bags share the cost of independent urban living with another corporate junkie.

But what if I lived with someone who has an exteme case of foot odor or somebody who's been (eternally) in denial of flushing paper towels into the clogged toilet? Man, I can create a list of unwarranted, extreme, and simply insufferable "what if's" as I plan about the move.

Maybe someone could advise. This could be life-changing...

well if u didn't like ur roomie in the least - u can always kick them out n get a new one..ya noe.just change roomies like clothes =P

i think u oughta give it a chance.there are healthy advantages such as life long friendships, less bills, prolly an opportunity for more social life n the like =P

besides its up to u to decide who ur roomie is gonna be right ^^

Me too, I got to know some of my friends through their blogs and this just proves that cyber-lurking could expand one's social horizon. hehe! =)

i guess thats it.i might have linked this from chona's blog or my friend's friend's blog.lol..weird =P

nice meetin ya ^^

living independently is errr...rewarding. try it.
roommates are fun. someone (or some people) to spend time with and talk instead of malling which ultimately leads to more expenses (unless you and your roommates share the same passion for spending).

haay!! the financials...make me think of not moving...i went on a house-hunting trip on a budget (under 5k per month) and I couldn't find a good one. Either the apartment room lacks windows or the windows let me view a depressing 3rd world neighborhood (bangayan at saksakan(exag lang! hehe!)ng mga magkakapit-bahay galore.) parang mas okay pa kahit pano tumira sa bundok ng Planet Nova...hehe!
