For some reason, I decided to hit the gym an hour before it closed. Yes, I was at the gym around 11pm to get myself a good workout and a detoxifying sauna bath (unfortunately, the sauna was closed for disinfecting). After about a 45-minute routine (split into a 5-minute cardio and
a 40-minute upper body workout), I decided to get my ass off the equipment...had shower, got into some,uhm...well, normal clothing, and then headed to Greenbelt 3 to gucci handbags have dinner with Nicky, whom by then I didn't get to see for three months.
We were supposed to have dinner at Café Bola, but they closed few minutes before midnight...and so were the other nice restaurants. Hunger could not afford us to go some place else, so we headed to Kitchen for dinner. I didn't enjoy the food though...the crab stick omelette was too salty for my palate and the pesto too bland for Nicky's. We enjoyed pouring water from the bottle with Mint Leaves, though. Nicky took some photos...captivating indeed! =)
We set off for Coffee Bean, supposedly to get some dose of sugar and caffeine, but we were both full that time. Besides, caffeine was probably the last thing we'd take if we needed to sleep soundly for the rest of the night (this is peaceful slumber put off for the hour of daybreak...you'll know why!) Anyway, we spent like more than a couple of hours talking about Café Havana (and why I so abhor this place), and "discreetly" character-assassinating those (who we think deserve it...^^and...)passing by Coffee Bean's smoking area ( and nope...I haven't gone taking daily nicotine doses; stayed there because we'd doze off on the couches.)
It was past the witching hour when the coffee shop closed. The ever nocturnal Nicky and Marlon decided to take a walk. I could trace our paths from Greenbelt 3 to Salcedo Village for that hour of meandering. I'm amused by the fact that we had travelled that distance for this superficial purpose of locating the Fraser Place and Capones (oh, for a reason that only Nicky and I...and well...the parties involved know...ha!). We parted ways around 4:30 AM, and by the time I got home I told myself, I finally gots something to blog about. hehe!
So Nicky, feel free to provide your inputs. Blog about that collision at the Mandarin intersection, the stinky Buendia sidewalks, and the girls...hehe! =) Miss you and I'll see you soon!
