I just need to blurt it out!!!

Once again, the Philippines is stuck in a deep socio-political pit. Thanks to our leaders who never learned from the lessons of this country’s long history of economic injustice, socio-political unrest, and bureaucratic corruption. up:gucci handbags

The most recent scandal that led Gloria Arroyo to blurt out those sacrilegious remarks during an interview with Time has put the Philippines once again in the global map; and sure for the nth time, a principal matter of interest under the category of political hilarity.

GMA and her allies were evidently involved in last year’s (not so shockingly new) electoral fraud, so were those from other political parties. Some even have the nerve to be overly pompous. Sayang at masakit man isipin, pero number one ka Nene Pimentel!!! Ang kakapal ng mukha nyo! Pare-pareho lang kayo!

EDSA People Power 2’s was a sublime advocacy malevolently squandered. I had high hopes for our country, then. Back in college, I courageously took on the challenge to walk out of my class and unite with the rest to oust a dissolute leader. “ERAP PACK UP!!!” It was fulfilling to be part of this momentous event. Now, every great memory seems washed out from my consciousness.

Nakakahiya!!! I don’t really know where this country is headed for. It’s just very frustrating that ordinary people like myself, who dream of better states for their families and work so hard to realize that sweet thought, get battered most by this filthy gamble that politicians lay their ridiculous bets on. With all these dirty tactics, I just wonder if they ever get restful at night.

What do we expect in the next few days? Another destabilization plot from these notoriously power-obsessed personalities? I’m praying for a miracle that the Angels of Death come down from the Heavens to take away their evil souls to be instantaneously cast into the blazing Inferno.

I am so much consumed with disillusionment about what’s happening in our society. Ironically, savoring democracy in a nation infested by governmental leeches and roaches is self-flagellation!

Aaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Comments:
I too am deeply disillusioned with the way our government is being ran. But as long as young people like you passionately care for what's happening to our country and can discern right from wrong (in sharp contrast to the so-called "elder statesment" who seem to have lost all sense of decency), I have hope for our country.

thanks bugsy. hay...minsan nakakafrustrate lang talaga.

pero i never stopped hoping. if i did, i would have been part of the diaspora.
